  3. So Theresa May is the 76th Prime Minister? I thought she was the 54th

    • Turns out she is my bad

    • Yes, I thing that because, according to the term of office

    • There have been 54 people to be prime minister, but there have been 76 prime ministers, since some people (Thomas Pelham-Holmes, William Lamb, Henry John Temple, Harold Wilson and especially William Ewart Gladstone) liked to come back into office.

Those people were out of work due to the previous Labour government propping up nationalised industries, such as the car industry which was making rubbish cars that were stockpiled up and no one abroad wanted to buy. That unemployment was there under Labour but the government pumped in tax payers money to keep dying industries going.Thatcher came in and had the balls to stop that.

    • Yeah, and she didn’t technically have balls!

    • Jacob Barnett, I may not agree with all of Thatcher-the-Milk-Snatcher’s ideals, but she did break the back of the unions. I think she did the right thing there.

    • Only fools and horses work.

  17. So John Stuart, Charles Watson-Wentworth and Augustus FitzRoy saw the rise of the USA in their lifetimes. Same for Frederick North when he was in charge.
